At the school I work, we just had training in the use of smartboard. We now have seven smart boards in our school, one for each class. Interactive whiteboards provide interactivity and engagement in the classroom. In combination with a computer and a projector provides smart board for a dynamic learning environment.
Smart Board was invented in 1991 and is like a school board, only digital tablet that is touch sensitive, and get off the local computer system resources. It is an interactive whiteboard that can save and store information that is written on it, and makes it possible to refer to the notes downloaded from the Internet or other sources. How can we use it?
The training with smartboard will give students an insight into the variety and scope of our work and communicate knowledge and skills for active participation in it. In parts of the work effort depends in particular on human insight and care, in other parts is the use of various technological tools essential. Technology approaches people have developed to achieve their goals, work more easily and collaborate better. Technology provides tools for creating and doing things.
In kunnskapsløftet it says that students should be able to use digital tools in their learning. this applies in all subjects, and should be helpful in the same way for a primary school, middle school and high school. Smart Board can be used in all classes and it is only imagination that puts an end to creativity.
Students should now learn to use such aids in writing, reading, mathematics, digital maps, making and watching movies, powerpoint presentations, and much more.
